Hi, I’m Erin, founder of Cropwise Consulting LLC.
Erin Marlow grew up on her family farm in Illinois. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Crop Science and M.S. in Integrated Pest Management. She has been a crop consultant since 1996. Her agronomy education and consulting experiences took her internationally to work in Brazil, Argentina, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. She was a David L. Boren Scholarship Recipient through the United States Department of Defense to study the languages and cultures critical to our nation’s security.
Erin began her Missouri adventures as a Regional Agronomist for the University of Missouri in 2004. In this capacity, Erin served on the USDA-ARS Soybean Rust Monitoring Network team. Erin taught Crop Scouting and Production classes and was a recruiter for the Agricultural Department at Northwest Missouri State University. After this, she went to work as a technical agronomic writer for Monsanto Company. She wrote and translated for the Northern United States and Canada. Erin then went back into the field in 2008 where she worked as an Agronomist and District Sales Representative for Syngenta Seed, Inc. In 2012, Erin became a co-owner of Milne-Dinsdale Seed, LLC.
In 2015, Erin founded Cropwise Consulting LLC to meet the growing demand of consultation and scouting services of clients in Northwest Missouri. Her passion for the crop and focus on independent crop input solutions has made Cropwise a valuable resource for her clients. As an advisor, Erin takes each customer’s operation, profitability and experiences very personally and works tirelessly to help them be successful year after year. Erin is a member of the American Society of Agronomy, Crop Science Society of America, and Soil Science Society of America as well as the National Alliance of Independent Crop Consultants.
Erin lives outside of Maryville, MO chasing her three amazing children and four-legged friends. She loves life and enjoys traveling and she can’t pass up good food and drinks in the company of cherished friends.
